Use ReaConverter Scheduler for automated batch image processing! Processing a single image takes seconds and minimum computer resourses, whereas editing and conversion of multiple files, depending on their number, may result in hours of monotonous work. As an inventor from a fantasy movie that creates some special tools to make his life easier by getting breakfast done by his wake-up hour, we have made ReaConverter Scheduler, a reliable batch image processing scheduler service, to help make your work more efficient, and your life a little more trouble-free. ReaConverter Scheduler is a special ReaConverter built-in tool for performing all kinds of photo/image manupulations in automatic mode. It is a completely new feature that puts the process of multiple images processing on schedule that is most convenient for you. Scheduler has a simple user-friendly interface and enables you to easily run scheduled batch image processing at any period of time, even late at night, without having to be present at the computer to make it up and running. All you need to do is to set up image processing tasks to a certain shedule, and leave the computer turned on and alone.
Using Scheduler, you can:
Using Scheduler: Scheduler comes with ReaConverter and is installed together with ReaConverter. Once ReaConverter 5.0 installation is over, the Scheduler shortcut is placed to the ReaConverter program group in the Windows Start menu. You can launch it both from the Start menu, and directly from the ReaConverter program window. Using Scheduler, you can perform batch image processing tasks both manually and automatically. If you decide in favour of manual processing, you will be able to perform your tasks manually in the Scheduler program window. To enable automatic performance of your scheduled image processing tasks, you should either leave Scheduler open at the next run time of your tasks, or set the tool to start automatically. With the latter enabled, Scheduler continues working even if you close the program window, and what is more, manages all scheduled tasks even if no user is logged on. How to set Scheduler to work with your scheduled tasks automatically?
If you go to the Scheduler Preferences, you will be given a choice to start the tool either manually, or on Windows start.
If you choose manual start, Scheduler will perform your scheduled tasks only when its window is open. If you set it to be launched on Windows startup, the Scheduler service will automatically start every time Windows is started, and finish only after it is either stopped, or your computer shutdown. All this time it will be working and performing the scheduled image processing, and you will be able to trace if it is on by the Scheduler icon hiding in your system tray. Creating scheduled tasks: Scheduler works with configuration (.cfg), action (.act) and file list (.lst) files saved in ReaConverter. Configuration files contain information on a destination folder, output format settings, additional settings, file options, file name modifications and conversion options (transparency color, loading settings, etc.). Action files take care of the applied actions. Information on added files is saved to the file list files accordingly.
Creating a new task consists of two steps. For a start, you give your task a name and set the necessary schedule. Secondly, you select a configuration file, files to convert (if not specified in a corresponding file list) and an action file (if necessary).
Note: ReaConverter Scheduler comes with ReaConverter Professional Edition only. Should you have any questions about Scheduler, please refer to the Scheduler built-in Help. If your question is not answered, contact our technical support for further assitance.
