Cleanup Manager
reaConverter Cleanup Manager helps keep your system running smoothly by automatically stopping stalled conversion processes and removing old temporary files.
It prevents resource overload and ensures efficient operation, making it ideal for batch processing, automated workflows, and server environments where manual cleanup isn’t practical. By managing processes and freeing up disk space, this tool optimizes performance and maintains a clutter-free workspace.
Usage
Stop long-running reaConverter processes:
rcp_clean.exe [NumberOfMinutes] [FileName]
- NumberOfMinutes – Specifies the maximum allowed runtime (in minutes) for reaConverter processes.
- FileName – (Optional) Limits the cleanup to processes associated with a specific file.
Effect: Automatically terminates any reaConverter process that has been running longer than the specified time.
Stop cons_rcp.exe and all processes spawned by it:
rcp_clean.exe [NumberOfMinutes] cons_rcp.exe
- NumberOfMinutes – Specifies the maximum allowed runtime (in minutes) for reaConverter processes.
Effect: Automatically terminates cons_rcp.exe and all processes spawned by it if they exceed a user-defined runtime threshold, ensuring safe cleanup of resources.
Delete old temporary files:
rcp_clean.exe /temp NumberOfMinutes [PathToTemp]
- NumberOfMinutes – Deletes temporary files older than the specified time (in minutes).
- PathToTemp – (Optional) Custom path to the temporary folder. If not provided, the default reaConverter temp directory is used.
