How to Convert Multiple JP2 Images to PCX?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
First, grab reaConverter from the download button below. Installation is fast, and the software runs offline — no account or signup needed. You can also resize, crop, and adjust images during conversion.
2. Load your JP2 files
Launch reaConverter and drop in your JP2 files. The software queues everything for batch processing with consistent settings.
Add files by dragging them in, browsing folders, or using the right-click menu from Windows Explorer.

3. Select PCX as output format
Pick PCX as output format and choose the destination folder where you want to save new .pcx files.

4. Start JP2 to PCX conversion
Then simply press the Convert button and your conversion will begin in no time!

Once the conversion is complete, you can find your PCX files in the destination folder you selected.
Before you convert JP2 to PCX
JP2 can carry an alpha channel and PCX cannot. Transparent areas are composited onto a solid background during conversion, so pick that background colour deliberately: white is the default, and it is rarely the right choice for a logo that will sit on a dark page. PCX is lossless, so nothing further is discarded during conversion. What it cannot do is restore detail that JP2 compression already removed, and the output file will usually be considerably larger.
