How to Convert Multiple RAF Images to U3D?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
Download reaConverter and install it in seconds. The setup is straightforward — no complex configuration, no extra software required. reaConverter also includes editing tools: resize, crop, rotate, and more.
2. Load your RAF files
Launch reaConverter and drop in your RAF files. The software queues everything for batch processing with consistent settings.
Drop your RAF files into the window or use File menu to browse and select folders.

3. Select U3D as output format
Choose U3D for output and set your save location. reaConverter lets you customize quality and apply edits before conversion.

4. Start RAF to U3D conversion
Hit Convert and let reaConverter do the work. The progress window shows status for each file in real time.

After conversion, find your U3D files in the output folder. Click 'Show converted files' to open it directly.
Before you convert RAF to U3D
RAF files hold unprocessed sensor data, so white balance and exposure are still adjustable. Converting to U3D bakes those decisions into the pixels, and highlight recovery is no longer available afterwards. Set white balance and exposure before the run rather than after. RAF is made of pixels and U3D is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a U3D container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it.
