How to Convert Multiple DDS Images to WMF?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
Download reaConverter and install it in seconds. The setup is straightforward — no complex configuration, no extra software required. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your DDS files
Open reaConverter and add your DDS files. You can load individual files, entire folders, or even nested subfolders.
Drop your DDS files into the window or use File menu to browse and select folders.

3. Select WMF as output format
Choose WMF as the target format. Pick a destination folder or let reaConverter save files alongside the originals.

4. Start DDS to WMF conversion
Hit Convert and let reaConverter do the work. The progress window shows status for each file in real time.

After conversion, find your WMF files in the output folder. Click 'Show converted files' to open it directly.
DDS to WMF: what carries over and what does not
DDS is made of pixels and WMF is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a WMF container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it. One DDS file can hold several pages or frames, while WMF holds one image each. reaConverter writes a separate output file per page and numbers them, so a single input can produce a whole folder of results.
