How to Convert Multiple JP2 Images to PPM?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
First, grab reaConverter from the download button below. Installation is fast, and the software runs offline — no account or signup needed. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your JP2 files
Start reaConverter and add your .jp2 files. The software processes everything locally, so your files never leave your computer.
Use drag-and-drop, folder browser, or right-click conversion from Explorer.

3. Select PPM as output format
Select PPM from 700+ supported output formats. Choose your destination folder and adjust settings to match your needs.

4. Start JP2 to PPM conversion
Click Convert to start the batch. reaConverter processes files quickly and shows you the status of each one.

Once done, reaConverter shows a summary. Click 'Show converted files' to jump straight to your PPM output.
Before you convert JP2 to PPM
JP2 can carry an alpha channel and PPM cannot. Transparent areas are composited onto a solid background during conversion, so pick that background colour deliberately: white is the default, and it is rarely the right choice for a logo that will sit on a dark page. PPM is lossless, so nothing further is discarded during conversion. What it cannot do is restore detail that JP2 compression already removed, and the output file will usually be considerably larger.
