How to Convert Multiple JPEG Images to DDS?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter is a standalone Windows app — download, install, and start converting JPEG files in under two minutes. Apply image edits like resize, crop, or color adjustment while converting.
2. Load your JPEG files
Launch reaConverter and drop in your JPEG files. The software queues everything for batch processing with consistent settings.
Add files by dragging them in, browsing folders, or using the right-click menu from Windows Explorer.

3. Select DDS as output format
Pick DDS as output format and choose the destination folder where you want to save new .dds files.

4. Start JPEG to DDS conversion
Then simply press the Convert button and your conversion will begin in no time!

Once the conversion is complete, you can find your DDS files in the destination folder you selected.
JPEG to DDS: what carries over and what does not
JPEG and DDS both compress by discarding data, so this is a re-encode rather than a copy. The output is built from already-compressed pixels, and the artefacts of the first encode are carried into the second. Use a high quality setting, and convert from the original whenever you still have it.
