The RPBM format is part of a group of portable bitmap formats known as Netpbm, together with PBM, PGM and PPM. All formats were designed by Jef Poskanzer with the aim of improving the transferability of bitmap files between different computers and applications. RPBM files contain monochrome images and they are less common than PBMs, so opening them with currently available image viewers might pose some difficulties.
The quick and simple way to handle your files is to get a quality piece of software, such as reaConverter. This software is extremely efficient in managing a wide range of batch conversions. As you will soon realize, reaConverter will help you avoid spending countless hours trying to figure out how to convert multiple RPBM files as once.
