A single EDIGEO delivery is made of several files with the same base name, and the THF file is the one that stands at the top: it describes the transfer as a whole and tells which other files belong to it. By itself it holds no map, and the parcels, buildings, and boundaries are in the other files of the package. Such packages are published openly for the whole of France and are widely used to produce local maps and to import cadastral data into other systems.
