How to Convert Multiple FIT Images to PCX?

What changes when you convert FIT to PCX
FIT stores 32-bit greyscale covering the full dynamic range of the scan, and PCX shows 8 bits. The conversion applies a window level, so what ends up visible depends on the window you choose. Decide separately whether patient metadata should be copied to the output or stripped from it. PCX stores a limited palette rather than full colour, so the conversion has to reduce the number of distinct colours. Photographic content shows this as banding, while flat graphics and icons usually survive it untouched.
