How to Convert Multiple JP2 Images to IGES?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter installs quickly on any Windows PC. No dependencies, no bloatware — just a clean setup that's ready to use immediately. You can also resize, crop, and adjust images during conversion.
2. Load your JP2 files
Load your JP2 files into reaConverter. You can add individual files or point to folders, and the software will queue everything automatically.
Select JP2s from a folder or drag-and-drop them directly into the reaConverter window.

3. Select IGES as output format
Choose IGES for output and set your save location. reaConverter lets you customize quality and apply edits before conversion.

4. Start JP2 to IGES conversion
Press the Convert button and reaConverter takes care of the rest. Processing time depends on file size and volume.

After processing, find all your new .iges files in the output location. The log shows details for each conversion.
How JP2 and IGES differ in practice
JP2 is made of pixels and IGES is a geometry format, so the two describe images in fundamentally different ways. Check the result before sending it downstream: what matters is whether the output contains editable geometry or a picture placed inside a IGES container, and that determines whether a CAD or design tool can work with it.
