How to Convert Multiple TGA Images to JP2?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter installs quickly on any Windows PC. No dependencies, no bloatware — just a clean setup that's ready to use immediately. Built-in editing tools let you resize, crop, or watermark as you convert.
2. Load your TGA files
Add TGA files to reaConverter. One file or a thousand, the process is the same. Everything runs locally on your machine.
You can drag-and-drop files, browse to a folder, or add entire directory trees including subfolders.

3. Select JP2 as output format
Select JP2 from the output format list and set your destination folder. You can also adjust quality and compression settings.

4. Start TGA to JP2 conversion
Click the Convert button to start. reaConverter will process all your files with the settings you selected.

When finished, your new .jp2 files will be waiting in the destination folder.
How TGA and JP2 differ in practice
TGA stores pixels without compression loss and JP2 does not, so this is a one-way step. Choose a high quality setting, and avoid converting the same file back and forth, because each pass compounds the artefacts.
