The CPI extension is attached to vector files created using Calamus, a piece of desktop publishing software released in the late 1980s. Calamus was designed for the Atari ST, which was an innovative brand of home computers at the time, and was one of the first vector handling programs to include its own proprietary vector formats, as well as support virtual objects and frames. Since its release, Calamus had several subsequent upgrades and its latest version is Calamus SL2006.
The quick and simple way to handle your files is to get a quality piece of software, such as reaConverter. This software is extremely efficient in managing a wide range of batch conversions. As you will soon realize, reaConverter will help you avoid spending countless hours trying to figure out how to convert multiple CPI files as once.
