How to Convert Multiple OBJ Files to JP2?
1. Download and Install reaConverter
reaConverter installs quickly on any Windows PC. No dependencies, no bloatware — just a clean setup that's ready to use immediately.
2. Load your OBJ files
Load your OBJ files into reaConverter. You can add individual files or point to folders, and the software will queue everything automatically.
Select OBJs from a folder or drag-and-drop them directly into the reaConverter window.

3. Select JP2 as output format
Choose JP2 for output and set your save location. reaConverter lets you customize quality and apply edits before conversion.

4. Start OBJ to JP2 conversion
Press the Convert button and reaConverter takes care of the rest. Processing time depends on file size and volume.

After processing, find all your new .jp2 files in the output location. The log shows details for each conversion.
How OBJ and JP2 differ in practice
OBJ describes geometry rather than pixels, so it has no inherent resolution. The conversion renders it at whatever size you choose, and that choice is final: enlarging the JP2 afterwards will not recover the sharpness. Set the output dimensions or DPI before converting, not after.
